Where the Nemunas, Merkys, and Stangė rivers meet, in the historic Merkinė manor, right in front of the Merkinė hillfort, there are three nature residences - "Upių", "Sodai", and "Šilojai".

Three residences, three different views
Each two-story residence has a separate entrance, private terrace and a distinct character.
The windows of "Upiai" look out onto the Merkis River, which empties its waters into the Nemunas. "Sodai" invites you to relax surrounded by trees and admire their tops, while "Šilojai" awaits those traveling with pets and those for whom convenient wheelchair access is important.
Whichever residence you choose, you will find peace, privacy, and the ever-changing landscape of Dzūkija.
Everything for a comfortable stay
Each residence can accommodate up to four adults, with additional single beds available. Bed linen and towels are included, so all you have to do is bring your personal belongings and relax.
For your convenience, there is a kitchen with dishes and household appliances, a shower and toilet, and a heating and cooling system. It is cozy here both in the summer heat and on quiet winter evenings.
Each residence has a terrace with outdoor furniture and a view of the forest or rivers - for morning coffee, a slow breakfast, a book or an evening listening to nature.
Peace in all seasons
The Dream Workshop residences are quiet and private. The biggest noisemakers here are the birds, the wind in the treetops, and the rivers flowing below.
Here you can relax, create, work without interruptions, or simply not plan anything. Take a walk around Merkinė, visit the castle mound, travel along the forest trails of Dzūkija, and in the evening return to your terrace above the confluence of three rivers.
The residences are available for rent all year round, and longer stays are also possible. Arriving by car is convenient all year round, and parking is free for guests.
How to get here?
By car
We can call Merkinė a crossroads not only for cities in Lithuania, but also in Poland and Belarus. Getting around by car is convenient: from Vilnius or Kaunas, it is only an hour and a half to Merkinė, and from Druskininkai or Alytus, about a half-hour. Travel with a group of friends, and the trip will no doubt feel even shorter, as well as contribute to a more sustainable environment.
By bus
Intercity buses travel between Merkinė and the cities of Vilnius and Kaunas. These routes include Prienai, Alytus, Senoji Varėna and Druskininkai. When travelling by bus, take a bicycle with you; Dzūkija National Park offers several bicycle routes.
By train
We look forward to seeing you at Merkinės fabrikas, arriving by train on the Vilnius–Varėna route. The train stops at Valkininkai, Matuizos, Varėna and Marcinkonys. The town of Merkinė is located 25 km from Marcinkonys, an easy trip by bicycle.
